MARIE BUTNER PUGH , age 86, formerly of Manchester, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2012 in Worthington, Ohio.
Mrs. Pugh was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Jessie "Jimmie" Butner; former husband, Thomas F. Pugh; two sisters, Laura Fetzer and Bonnie Butner; two brothers, Hoyt Ray Butner and Henry Clay Butner.
Mrs. Pugh is survived by two sons, Thomas F. (Sharon) Pugh, Jr. of Kingsport and Dennis R. (Robin) Pugh of Galena, Ohio; five grandchildren, Whitney D. Pugh and Jordan A. Pugh of Kingsport, Bailey K. Pugh, Allison T. Pugh, and Donovan P. Pugh of Galena, Ohio; three sisters, Juanita (Carl) Wallace and Christine Pless of Ringgold, Georgia and Lurlie Gaston of Chattanooga; two sisters-in-law, Winona Butner of Dayton, Ohio and Karen Butner of Little Rock, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Memorial services for Mrs. Pugh will be held at 4:30 PM, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Manchester Funeral Home.
Visitation with the Pugh family will be held from 3:00 until 4:30 PM, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Manchester Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Mrs. Pugh's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 322 8th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, New York 10001.

GERTRUDE DARTIS , age 69 of Tullahoma, passed away, Friday, January 27, 2012.
Mrs. Dartis is survived by two daughters, Minister Maria (Minister Ramon) Wyattt of Murfresboro and Vanessa (Paul) Ikeard of McMinnville; five grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the Dartis family will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Interment will be at the Mt. Zion Haley Cemetery.

OPAL MAE PETERS , age 79 of Manchester, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012.
Mrs. Peters was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend John Henry Neeley, Sr. and Ibbie Laura Church Neeley; four brothers, Clabe, John, James, and Joseph Daniel "J.D." Neeley; one sister, Irene Neeley Barker.
Mrs. Peter is survived by her husband, John E. Peters, Sr. of Manchester; son, John (Sharron) Peters of Lyndonville, Vermont; two daughters, Cheryl (John) Powell of Hixson and Linda (Brent) Willis of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, Any and Ethan Willis, Joseph, Benjamin, and Daniel Peters, Hannah and Grant Powell; one brother, Reuben Everette "R.E." (Sue) Neeley of Bristol; sisters-in-law, Effie Neeley of Powell, Wilma Peters of Hollansburg, Ohio, and Mary Ruth Everson of Alaska; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the Peters family will be held from 4:00 until 9:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Manchester Funeral Home.
Funeral service for Mrs. Peters will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 5, 2012 from the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at the Hillsboro Methodist Cemetery.

Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her parents, Lars Oscar and Patricia Ann Young Peterson; husband, Edward Easton Burns.
Mrs. Burns is survived by her daughter, Julianna (Dennis) Wittner of Tullahoma; two grandchildren, Zoey Denise Wittner and Lars Edward Burns; one brother, Lars Oscar Peterson II of Paloi, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from the Chapel of the Tullahoma Funeral Home.

Mr. Nobles was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ruby Thaxton Nobles; first wife Dessie Nobles; second wife, Alma Nobles; three sons, Keithley, Ronnie, and Danny "Bo" Nobles; two brothers, Benton and Roy Nobles.
Mr. Nobles is survived by two sons, Charles "Poon" and Steve Nobles, both of Manchester; four daughters, Mary Ann Copeland of Nashville, Gail Zimerman and husband, Gary of Wakarusa, Indiana, Karen Avey and husband, Tom of Manchester, and Rachel Leatherwood and husband, Terry of Manchester; two sisters, Nell Jarrell and Peggy Miller, both of Manchester; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the Nobles family will be held from 5:00 uintil 8:00 PM, Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Coffee County Funeral Chapel.
Graveside services for Mr. Nobles will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Sumitville Cemetery.
